Power Bowl Recipe

When you just have 30 minutes to prepare a meal, this power bowl will make the most of your time. This hearty meal is jump-packed with carbs, protein, and green veggies that are quite filling. Serve this and you’ll be giving your family the nutritious and healthy meal they deserve.


What you need: (Makes 2 servings)

8 Lettuce leaves

1 Cup chickpeas

1 Sweet Potato (cubed)

1 Avocado (or half each between 2 bowls)

1/2 Bell Pepper (red, green or yellow)

12 Cherry tomatoes

1/2 Cup cabbage (sliced)

1 Turnip (thinly sliced)

Handful of sprouts (your choice)

1 tsp Olive Oil

Dressing per Serving

1 Tbsp of Tahini

1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice

1 drop doTERRA Lemon essential oil

What to do:

  • Preheat the oven at 350F/175C.

  • Place the cube sized sweet potatoes on a baking tray with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes.

  • Drain the chickpeas

  • Chop the peppers and avocado.

  • Prepare the dressing by mixing the tahini, fresh lemon juice and add a drop of doTERRA Lemon essential oil.

  • Once the sweet potatoes are done, place in a bowl and add all of the other ingredients on next to each other, finishing off with the dressing.

Optional: You could use any fish or meat of your choice to create a larger meal.
